Full payments for training courses must be received with the “booking form” or confirmation by email or letter in order to secure your booking (for contract purposes by the agreed payment due date). A receipted invoice will be issued once payment is received.
AV Training reserves the right to refuse admission to delegates whose fees remain unpaid at the time of the course commencing.
Changing Delegate Details AV Training will make no charge if a substitute delegate wishes to replace the original delegate. Please call our training team to inform them of any change.
Cancellations and/or Transfers
Should a delegate wish to cancel or transfer a course the following conditions apply:
10 working days before course commencement a 25% administration fee will be charged. 9 working days or less before course commencement the course fee remains payable in full for the original course date booked.
Cancellation or transfer requests must be received in writing and the date on which the letter/fax/email is received by the AV Training will be deemed as the date the cancellation or transfer has been made.
AV Training makes every possible attempt to run all courses, however, AV Training reserves the right to cancel any course for whatever reason at any time. AV Training will not be liable for costs incurred by the delegate.
To indemnify AV Training against all loss actions claims demands proceedings (whether criminal or civil) costs legal expenses (on a full indemnity basis) insurance premiums and all liabilities judgments damages or other sanctions whenever arising directly or indirectly from failure or alleged failure to carry out its duties under the Contract
Full payment must be received a minimum of 10 working days (or for contract purposes by agreed the payment due date) prior to the delivery of the training.
Re-scheduling and Cancellations (In-House Training)
All requests for the Training to be rescheduled from the Commencement Date or cancelled must be made in writing to AV Training and shall be deemed to have been made upon receipt by the AV Training of such written request either by fax or by post.
Cancellations/re-scheduling of Training requested by the Company outside of 30 working days prior to the agreed Commencement Date(s) will incur a cancellation fee equal to 40% of the total course cost to cover reasonable administration costs and trainer’s charges.
Cancellations or re-scheduling of Training requested by the Company within 30 working days of the agreed date(s) will be considered a cancellation of the original agreement, and a cancellation fee equal to 80% of the total course cost will apply.
Any cancellations or re-scheduling of Training requested by Company within 7 working days of the agreed Commencement Date(s) will result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total course cost.
AV Training reserves the right to charge interest on invoiced amounts unpaid for more than 28 days at the rate of 8% per annum above the base rate from the Bank of England from the due date until the date of payment.
No variation or addition to any of the terms of a Contract and/or these Terms shall be binding unless agreed in Writing between the authorised representatives of the organisation and AV Training. Unless otherwise agreed in writing such variations or additions shall only apply to the particular Contract concerned.
The Contract shall be governed by the laws of England, and the Hirer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
