Our Occupational Health and Safety and First Aid Health unit offer a number of short programmes in Health and Safety, Fire Prevention, First Aid. Our NVQ Assessment centre for Occupational Health & Safety has now been operating successfully for several years providing the opportunity for work based NVQ’s in Health & Safety at Level 3, 4 and 5. Andover College is unique in providing these qualifications by e-learning NVQ4 enables candidates to meet the requirements for (Member of Institute of Occupational Safety Health)  MIOSH membership.

A large percentage of our courses can be arranged at a venue to suit your individual business requirement or on site at our purpose built training suites. Although all the courses offered have a set format, most courses can be tailored to meet the need of any industry or your organisation.

Risk Assessment How to Control and Monitor Risks City & Guilds (Level 2 award)

This half day course is an introductory course for managers, supervisors and individuals who have responsibility for risk assessment. The topics included on the day are risk and hazard identification and assessment, undertaking risk assessments, risk priority and risk control and monitoring

EDI Level 2 Certificate in Health & Safety in Workplace

This course Level 2 progression award course is designed to give knowledge and practical experience of Health and Safety in the workplace. The course can be delivered on site or off site and supported by e-learning. The course content will cover Health & Safety legislation, Risk Assessment, Accidents, COSHH, Manual handling and Work equipment. Successful completion leads to an EDI Certificate in Health and Safety in the workplace
