The BIIAB Level National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders is a nationally recognised qualification and has been specifically designed to meet the statutory requirements of the licensing Act 2003. This one week course is for anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol in licensing premises. This much sought after qualification is accredited by both the QCA and Government approved,
This course and qualification is designed for Door Supervisors already working in licensed retail or wishing to start work in the industry. The certificate is awarded to those who pass the 2 examinations covering the basic knowledge and responsibilities of the occupation; the course is delivered Wednesdays 6 -9pm over duration of 4 weeks.
This nationally recognised qualification is the industry standard and will enable a Door Supervisor to apply for a licence to practice. The Security Industry Authority (SIA) issues licences to door supervisors who meet their criteria. In the interests of the industry as a whole and in support of its licence to practise, the SIA invited BIIAB and City & Guilds to work together to develop the BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisors. To get an SIA licence you will need to satisfy the 3 requirements:
* Pass an identity check
* Pass Criminal Records Check
* Possess a recognised door supervisor qualification
This workshop will enable delegates to be better at using their voice, doing public speaking and making presentations. Delegates will learn exercises to improve their ability to project their voice across a conference table or a large room; raise or lower their pitch and eliminate nasality. A large part of the workshop will be of a practical nature when delegates will be given the opportunity to evaluate their speaking voice and develop a program best suited for them to give the dynamic voice they want. We believe that it’s important to cover not only the presentation skills that you’ll get from other training companies like us, but also the critical ‘soft’ skills, such as voice projection, dealing with nerves, posture and so on.
